What you'll be doing: * Recruit, motivate and retain a team of high-performing and driven Associates * Work closely with the Associates to improve morale by motivating through effective coaching and facilitating personal growth * Work with other department leaders to cultivate a welcoming and team-focused environment * Communicate effectively with Associates and all levels of management * Create and implement workplace safety plans and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies including OSHA, EPA.

* Evaluate safety practices and procedures for risk assessment * Conduct accident prevention training and safety training * Inspect all vehicles and equipment to ensure operational safety * Analyze accident reports and evaluate injuries based on available facts * Identify and celebrate operational successes; develop and implement strategies to capitalize on opportunities address areas of improvement, and execute accordingly * Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security What we're looking for: * Minimum 2 years of college or equivalent * Four years of warehouse experience, of which two years must involve warehouse department management * Experienced in OSHA and EPA safety standards * Knowledgeable in worker's compensation regulations * Ability to integrate changing processes and procedures, managing time and resources effectively * Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives * Strong leadership skills, flexible and innovative with a collaborative style * Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs., ability to bend, stand, walk for prolonged period of time * Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends * Ability to travel between Distribution Centers and Retail Stores within the state of Florida * Able to submit to a Drug Test and Background Investigation.
