Position Details Position Information Position Title Adjunct, Criminal Justice Department SOCIAL SCIENCE Position Category Adjunct Job Description For Fall 2024, we are looking for an instructor to teach CRIM 210 Criminal Law either on the Harrogate campus or online via Canvas.

For Spring 2025 we are looking for an instructor to teach CRIM 220 Intro to Courts either on the Harrogate campus or online via Canvas.

Required Qualifications Masters degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or closely related subject; teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications Terminal Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or closely related subject.

Work experience in the Criminal Justice field.

Physical Demands Campus Harrogate Job Duty Job Duty Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large: Job Duty promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students Job Duty comply with the university Faculty/Staff Policy Manual; Job Duty submit textbook requests; Job Duty comply with announced requirements; Job Duty appropriately align course syllabi goals and objectives to academic major program goals and student outcomes for each course taught; Job Duty develop a current syllabus for each assigned class and distribute a course syllabus to each student; Job Duty submit a current copy of each syllabus to the department chair by a predetermined deadline; Job Duty evaluate enrolled students and submit grades to the Registrar by a predetermined deadline; Job Duty assure completion of the student course evaluation instrument for the semester as requested; Job Duty participate in the faculty evaluation process and use the results to improve teaching and strengthen the major; Job Duty perform other duties as assigned within the scope of current position.
