Fleet Mechanic 2

The City of Kent is currently accepting applications for the position of Fleet Mechanic 2 in our Public Works Department.

The incumbent in this position is responsible for performing skilled mechanical repair and maintenance work required to maintain the City's fleet of vehicles, mowers and heavy construction equipment.

The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of experience as a journey-level mechanic.

It is critical that the person in this position has the ability to communicate well and can work collaboratively with others to maintain and repair a fleet of automobiles used by City of Kent employees.

If you have the skills and experience necessary to successfully perform vehicle inspections, maintenance and repair, this position may be perfect for you.
