Responsibilities What you'll be challenged to do: Under close supervision, assists assigned department(s) and/or project(s) by performing basic surveying-related tasks which may reflect elements of standard post-secondary surveying curriculum, usually on a part-time, temporary, Internship basis.

Essential Functions: * Assists surveyors and engineering teams in various tasks and duties.

* Assists Surveyor with development of CAD drawings for various projects.

* Performs other duties as assigned, possibly including field data collection.

* Assists in the preparation of various surveying documents * Gathers data from a variety of sources.

* Evaluates existing and proposed geometric conditions.

* Participates in site visits, project investigations and project meetings.

* Assists in preparing and reviewing drawings, reports and exhibits * Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures, and directives from supervisors.

* Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.

Qualifications What you bring to our firm: * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel * Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks as assigned * Must communicate well with others and have excellent phone etiquette * Must be able to work independently and manage time wisely * Currently pursuing an Associate's degree * Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
