Chief Electrical Inspector Plans Examiner

Chief Electrical Inspector/Plans Examiner Calvin Giordano & Associates, SAFEbuilt company is currently seeking a talented, experienced Chief Electrical Inspector/Plans Examiner to join their team.

This position offers great opportunity for a dynamic, motivated self-starter to work on a variety of assignments.

You'll be a member of our highly respected building department team with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged.

SKILLS: * Extensive knowledge of local electrical building codes and current construction procedures and technology.

* Interpretation of codes in the field and ability to provide code compliant solutions * Must possess the ability to positively interact with the other staff members, the general public, contractors, governmental entities, and other clientele * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Good time management, organization, and attention to detail skills * Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and a considerable amount of independent judgment * Ability to supervise a team of Inspectors SPECIAL LICENSE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION: * Florida Standard Inspector Electrical License required * Certified as a Electrical Inspector by the Broward County Board of Rules and Appeals * Valid driver's license with good driving record COMPENSATION: SAFEbuilt pays competitive wages and has a strong benefit offering including company vehicle.
