Installation Supervisor

Installation Supervisor Location: Madison Heights, MI Summary: To supervise and support the installation of projects at customer locations and following the project to completion.

Provide guidance to personnel and coordination of additional personnel.

Essential Functions: * To examine and review all relevant blueprints, schematic drawings, and layouts to determine appropriate work procedures and the necessary sequence of work operations.

* Ability to help in all departments of the install when needed in relation to: Build, Pipe, and Wire * Follow up on project reports and communicating with customers on a daily basis.

* Effectively communicate with the Engineering department on status of current project changes and updates * Organize material, lead, and provide technical direction to outside contractors and internal personnel.

* Ensuring safety of all assigned individuals on the road with the job * Work in other manufacturing areas when not on install, such as: Machining, Build, Pipe, and Wire.

* Other functions as assigned by Management.

Skills/Abilities: * Experience troubleshooting problems, finding solutions, and implementing those solutions.

* Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively * Ability to lead and coordinate projects from all aspects of installation.

Education and Experience: * Minimum 5 years' relevant industry experience within an industrial environment * Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisor or leadership role * Must be able to work to timelines and budgets.

* Must be able and willing to work overtime and travel to customer sites.

Working Conditions: * May be exposed to moving mechanical equipment, airborne particles, and occasionally chemical fumes.

* The noise level within the manufacturing floor may be faint to moderate, and occasionally loud.

* Eyewear is mandatory while in the manufacturing area.

* Safety shoes such as hard soled shoes are to be worn in the manufacturing area.

* Must be able to work overtime when required as job permits.

Physical Demands: * Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

* Must be able to bend, and lift objects up to 35 pounds if required.
