Salary: $17-$19 (depending on your experience & availability)

Shift Type:

You can work up to 35 hours per week

Night and day shifts (depends on availability)

We have 4, 6, and 8 - hour shifts available

What You’ll Be Doing:

Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Assist with daily living needs offering companionship care

Take clients for walks, trips to activities or social events, errands etc.

Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises

Simple meal preparations

Light housekeeping

Help with Activities of Daily Living such as:

Personal Hygiene

Dressing

Eating

Maintaining Continence

Help with Transferring/Mobility

And if you cover night and overnight shifts:

Stay awake and alert to assist the client to go to the bathroom.

Check on the client on a regular basis.

Reposition to avoid bed sores.

If the client is an early riser, assist with getting dressed and breakfast.

Occasionally help with incontinence issues.

All our clients have different needs and specific care plans. We will not have you care for a client that requires help beyond your comfort level and knowledge.

Upon hiring, Right at Home will provide you with a paid orientation and training. You will be able to interact with our administrative staff and get all of your questions responded.

Must Haves:

The most important requirement is to have a passion for working with and helping our senior community

Pass a background test

Must be able to speak and comprehend basic English

Current TB clearance

18+ years old
