This position is responsible for maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.

Their duties include communicating with clients to establish job details in addition to inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying the electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in buildings.

One of our locations in Greenville, South Carolina is hiring for an Experienced Electrician!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.

* Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables, ensuring piping complies with electrical codes.

* Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.

* Connects electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building.

* Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.

* Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.

* Replaces conduit, wiring, and circuit breakers as needed.

* Reading technical diagrams and blueprints.

* Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units * Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.

* Maintain accurate records of work performed.

* If assigned a company vehicle, maintain an accurate inventory of truck stock, ensure vehicle is regularly serviced and immediately report any problems with vehicle * Protect and maintain company equipment.

* Inspect and maintain the truck and all related equipment, putting in repair requests as necessary to maintain safe operation.

* Operate warehouse equipment, including vehicles, in a way that facilitates the loading and unloading of the truck while observing all safety regulations and manufacturer's safety instructions for that equipment.

* Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including driver safety and personal protective equipment.

* Perform other duties assigned by management.

Education/Qualification: * Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems * Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g.

wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints * Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.

* Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

* Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability Other Duties: * Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements: * Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.

* Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.

* Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.

* Must be physically capable of climbing ladders and using lifts.

* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
