Join our dynamic team and play a vital role in providing nutritious and delicious meals to our school community.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve hot and cold food items, ensuring adherence to established procedures and portion control standards.

- Maintain a clean and sanitary food service environment, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and serving areas.

- Prepare a variety of foods, such as entrees, fruits, meats, sandwiches, salads, and baked goods, using fresh and high-quality ingredients.

- Serve meals on serving lines, ensuring proper food temperature and quality.

- Prepare and arrange fruits, vegetables, and salad dressings for the salad bar, maintaining freshness and rotation.

- Prepare food and beverages for sale, including setting up plates, trays, and utensils.

- Perform cashiering duties, including operating a computerized point-of-sale system and handling cash transactions.

- Operate standard food service equipment, such as food carts, slicers, and can openers.

- Maintain routine records related to assigned activities.

- Attend mandatory trainings as required for the position.

- At least one year of experience in a food service environment.

- Excellent food preparation and handling skills.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.

- Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.

- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.

- Food Handler's Permit or willingness to obtain one.
