Position Overview The Truck and Trailer Mechanic is responsible for ensuring that all company-owned CDL trucks, non-CDL trucks, and trailers are maintained at adequate levels needed to meet production/distribution demand.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to oil changes, diagnostics and evaluation of mechanical problems, maintenance and upkeep of the shop area, parts ordering/organization, and the recording of maintenance tasks performed.

What you'll do: * Perform services and repairs to company-owned equipment and vehicles, such as diesel engine Class A trucks, Class B trucks, Blower Trucks, and pickup trucks.

* Complete paperwork pertaining to maintenance of equipment and vehicles in a timely fashion.

* Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine preventative maintenance work on vehicles.

* Research, order, and maintain parts inventory (belts, hoses, etc.) for services and repairs.

* Represent Yard Works and SiteOne in a professional manner at all times.

Location: * Yard Works * 19001 Hull Street Rd, Moseley, VA 23120* * *This position requires local travel in a company vehicle to other company locations Estimated starting pay: * $28.00/hr and up Skills We Are Seeking * Basic knowledge of diesel mechanics with a background in diagnostics preferred * Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record * Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently * Must possess strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and organizational skills * Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines and achieve desired goals * Must be capable of lifting up to 65 lbs * High school diploma or equivalent preferred Perks: * Weekly Paychecks with DailyPay available!
