Adjunct/Affiliate in Finance

Welcome and Introduction Saint Joseph's University's Department of Finance has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester.

Professionals with experience in corporate finance, investments, risk management and insurance, banking, international finance, real estate finance, or financial services are encouraged to apply.

Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an "as needed" basis.

Courses available for adjunct staffing can be offered during the day or in the evening, can be at the graduate or undergraduate level, and can be in either the in-person or online delivery mode.

Secondary duties include keeping the Department of Finance updated on any publications or work related promotions, certifications, and designations you have received.

Required qualifications include either a Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a closely related field or a Bachelor's Degree combined with relevant professional certifications (e.g., Actuarial or other insurance-related certifications). Preference will be given to candidates who have an ABD or PhD in Finance or Accounting; previous teaching experience, and a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
