Tax Accountant

This Hartford area accounting firm is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Tax Accountant with a CPA, Registered Tax Preparer, or Enrolled Agent designation to join this dedicated team.

Offering salary up to $125K

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of their clients. You will work closely with a diverse client base, providing comprehensive accounting and tax services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, tax preparation, and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports for clients.

Conduct tax planning and analysis to minimize tax liabilities for individuals and businesses.

Assist clients in resolving tax-related issues and inquiries.

Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Perform financial analysis and provide strategic financial guidance to clients.

Maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

CPA, Registered Tax Preparer, or Enrolled Agent designation is required

Minimum 3 years of experience in a public accounting or similar role

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
