Commissioning Automation Specialist

Do you have a passion for automation and a knack for data?

Selectek has an 12-month engagement (likely extensions) for a talented Commissioning Automation Specialist to join a team in Houston, TX and play a key role in developing innovative data-driven solutions. You'll leverage your expertise in network communications and control systems protocols to design and implement pilot systems for data collection and analysis.

What you'll do:

Design and deploy pilot systems for gathering and analyzing data.

Integrate data sources from field equipment and data historians like PI.

Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless system operation.

Troubleshoot any technical challenges that may arise.

What you bring to the table:

5+ years of experience in automation commissioning.

In-depth knowledge of GE PAC PLCs, Omni, and ABB Spirit (Flow-X) flow computers.

Experience with software installation, upgrades, and licensing (a plus).

Ability to read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus points for:

Experience with data acquisition and analysis systems.
