Why This Role is Important:

The Payment Decision Support team’s mandate is to deepen our understanding of customers, embedding analytics in everyday decisions by developing analytical talent across the organization and using leading technology and techniques. The objective of this position is to deliver accurate, easy-to-use and timely data based insights and solutions. The Manager, Analytics & Insights will report to Senior Manager, Payment Decision Support.

What You’ll Do:

Direct a team of data analysts to support day to day analytical needs for Product and Sales.

Be the subject matter expert for data and drive strategic results by providing key strategic insights and recommendations on new and existing business opportunities.

Transform the way the business uses data by developing sophisticated reporting and analytics to serve external and internal clients.

Provide valuable consultation to the business in key projects on data requirements, program development, and performance monitoring.

Champion initiatives for deep analytic capabilities and leverage all available sources of data to build value for the business.

Implement PCF’s data modernization roadmap. Improve cloud data adoption (tools, data sources, platforms) in respective business areas.

Support department wide regulatory, governance and compliance practices by participating in Data Governance Office and Business Compliance programs.

What You Bring:

3-5 years of experience in the data and analytics domain, with people management experience

University degree in Business/Commerce, Computer Science/Engineering/Analytics

Curious mindset on business context and connects to the bigger picture

A strong voice to represent data needs and influence project design to address those needs

Experience with medium to large scale deep analytics projects preferably in a financial service/banking setting

Technical know-how with: Python, Google Cloud Platform, SAS, SQL and relational databases, ETL technologies, and Tableau.

Demonstration of expertise in one or more of the following domains: business intelligence/reporting, data warehouse/data mart, big data/cloud data platforms, data strategy and transformation

Ability to successfully communicate complex problems

Excellent interpersonal skills to work with multiple partners and garner consensus
