Position: Network Engineer

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Aurora, CO

Required/desired skills:

*) Associate degree from an accredited institution.

*) 2 years of Network Administrator experience **An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

*) Microwave Radio Network, line of sight, wireless data infrastructure and network troubleshooting experience

Palo Alto Environment

*) Network Technical Documentation and Topology

*) Flexibility to work within multiple network environments with different topologies

*) Running multiple projects simultaneously

*) Change Management Processes

*) Windows Network OS

*) LAN, WAN, WLAN, VOIP

*) Network management analysis tools

*) Cisco UC, Including Unity and UCX CUCM Administration

*) Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with city staff, management and vendors

Recommend and assist with network upgrades and patches

Certificates Preferred: CCNA - Route/ Switch, Cisco Certified Networking Associate CCNP Switch 350-401, ITIL Foundations - IT Service Management, PCNSE - Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer
