Caffe Vita is looking to add to its Equipment Service team. We are looking for an amazing person to join the team to help with installing, maintaining, and servicing coffee equipment in the New York Metro area. If you enjoy working with rad people, drinking coffee, and fixing things, I have a job for you. We’ve been roasting coffee in Seattle since 1995. We buy our coffee from farmers we care about and roast it on vintage drum roasters. We strive to be the best independent roaster in Seattle, Phoenix, Brooklyn, and beyond. Vita means life, and this is ours. Great coffee, great service. That’s everything.

Responsibilities:

Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery

Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment

Perform routine preventative maintenance

Maintain company parts inventory

Coordinate, schedule, and create service visits

Communicate directly with customers

Respond to work orders in a timely fashion

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Drive a company service vehicle for long hours

Shared on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

2 years' of experience repairing commercial coffee equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Must have a valid Driver's License

Able to safely drive and navigate New York City and surrounding areas

Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment

Ability to handle physical workload

Must be able to lift +50lbs

Able to prioritize multiple tasks based on changing variables
