We are seeking a highly proficient Building Maintenance Technician. The role involves a candidate that is proficient in a variety of maintenance, repair, and renovation tasks. Objectives of this Role

Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of buildings and equipment

Inspect buildings, facilities, and systems for signs of damage, deterioration, or malfunction

Conduct repairs and troubleshooting in areas such as:

Plumbing: Fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and repairing fixtures

Electrical: Installing outlets, switches, and light fixtures; troubleshooting electrical issues

HVAC: Performing basic maintenance tasks and filter replacements.

Carpentry: Repairing doors, windows, cabinets, and other structures

Handle general maintenance duties including:

Painting walls, ceilings, and other surfaces

Patching drywall and repairing plaster

Installing and repairing flooring and tiles

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from supervisors

Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, materials used, and work orders completed

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks.

Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed to complete projectsSkills and Qualifications

Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance techniques

Ability to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and other handyman skills

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently

Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Proven experience as a handyman or similar role is a plus
