Production Supervisor - Weekend Shift

Job Description

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description:

The Operation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing shop floor employees that perform a variety of aerospace manufacturing processes. The Operation Supervisor role works very closely with the production planning group to effectively communicate daily priorities to the floor. This position is Friday-Sunday. This position pays a 25% shift premium.

Essential Responsibilities:

Supervise and motivate a team of workers.

Troubleshoot problems with parts and equipment.

Ensure health and safety guidelines are always followed.

Act with integrity and ethical behavior.

Oversee production methods and look for improvements.

Coordinate several products simultaneously.

Qualifications:

Strong verbal communication and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Able to read a blueprint and operation sheets.

Excellent organizational skills to be able to monitor the production process.

Ability to act decisively and solve personnel or equipment related problems.

Ability to work under pressure and multitask.

Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to meet deadlines.

A results-driven approach

Experience in a machine shop environment, preferably with leadership experience.

Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
