Job Title: Project Accountant

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Overview:

Our client,a dynamic conglomerate renowned for its expertise in Real Estate and other industries,is looking for an experienced Project Accountant to manage financial aspects of real estate projects. The Project Accountant will be responsible for budgeting, cost tracking, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop project budgets and forecasts in collaboration with project teams.

Monitor project costs and expenses, identifying variances and addressing issues.

Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Collaborate with project managers to optimize project profitability.

Provide financial guidance and support to project teams.

Assist in the preparation of project proposals and financial models.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in real estate.

Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
