GoldenRule is currently recruiting for a CTO for a leader in the HR solutions field.Â

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business as well as develop and maintain the technical vision and leading all aspects of the Group’s technology development. The position will include overseeing all technical aspects and technological resources of our organisation for the purpose of organisational growth both financially and technically as well as establishing a technological vision for an organisation and leads the company's technological development. Communicate with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure our company’s technologies are developed and used appropriately.

Experience required:

5 Years proven experience as a CTO or similar TECH leadership role managing a team of 30 plus

5-10 Years’ experience in supervising development of software

Exposure to the HR / Financial / Banking sector would be

Exposure to the E-commerce technology environment would be

Exposure to the agile development methodology that tie back into the orgnaisation’s SDLC/PDLC.

Exposure to Platform development Solutions, Mobile / Native applications, and database

Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy around the general company

In-depth knowledge of cloud based “platform†systems architecture, design and

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Advanced Management diploma in Management will be advantageous

Strategy:

Developing the company’s strategy for using technological resources to ensure alignment with the Group’s business goals.

Communicate technology strategy to stakeholders, partners, and Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships

Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape

Platform:

Consolidate our technology platforms and create development and enhancement plans for the management and maintenance of our architectural journey.

Use stakeholders’ and user feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology

Track, analyse and monitor technology performance metrics (User stats)

Track, analyse and monitor development teams’

Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture by ensuring that the organisation conducts constant research to improve our current technological assets.

Oversee all of the Organisation’s Technology budgets to make sure there are no unnecessary expenditures with ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely.

Develops and directs all networking safeguards to reduce the risk of outside breaches and protect sensitive internal and external client information

Evaluating and implementing new systems and infrastructures by way of Identifying, comparing, selecting and implementation of technology solutions to meet current and future needs

Maintain and update overall technology standards (Organisation’s PDLC) and practices and ensure adherence to all ISO and SOC

Directs the development and implementation of policies in instances of a breach, also known as disaster recovery plans (aligned to our ISO standards)
