This role is not a remote opportunity, it is on-site at our Manufacturing Plant in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Scope: The Utilities/Facilities Manager has overall responsibility for operation and maintenance of all utility systems as well as maintenance of the facility and grounds.

High emphasis on proven proficiencies in leadership with duties that will involve preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced demanding food and beverage manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities: * Promotes and practices safety and conducts him/herself in accordance with all safety guidelines at all times without compromise.

* Experienced with and in-depth knowledge of utility systems such as air compressors, water systems (RO, Soft, Domestic), HVAC, and with special emphasis on Chillers and Boilers.

* Ensures efficient, reliable utility supply to the production lines.

* Displays initiative to lead efforts to improve productivity.

Develops and oversees execution of an effective routine preventive maintenance program.

* Troubleshoots mechanical and electrical problems and determines how to correct fault by checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.

* Structures the group and develops team's skills to support production 24/7.

* Knowledge of mechanical power transfer systems such as gear reducers, chain/belt drives, direct drives, bearings, shafts, and couplings * Knowledge of 480-volt three phase power distribution such as transformers, Motor Control Centers, power panels * Basic knowledge of 120 and 24-volt discrete control and 4-20mA analog control systems * Knowledge and experience with pneumatic operated control valve actuators and solenoid devices * General understanding of building repair methods: carpentry, painting, and drywall * Ensures all work performed, hours, parts, and follow up work is documented on maintenance work orders.

* Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize different projects and workload.

Proven ability to communicate effectively, (written and verbally) with peers, management, contractors, and vendors.

* Strong technical, managerial and leadership skills to build teams and to implement sustainable processes.

* Responsible for ordering parts and managing contractors for utilities and facilities.

* All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial maintenance * 5 years' experience in building maintenance, utility maintenance and operation * Experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on troubleshooting, process improvement, instrumentation calibration and preventive maintenance.

* HVAC Universal License required.

* Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance, TPM and Continuous Improvement experience preferred.

* Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills.

* Must be extremely organized and have experience managing a PM program.

* Passion for troubleshooting and developing maintenance technicians' skills.

* Proficient with MS Office * Project management experience a plus * Experience driving accountability with vendors and contractors.

Physical Demands: * Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

* Must be able to work seated using a computer and phone for long periods of time.

* Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and weekends.

* Must possess visual acuity to document company records.

* Continuous walking throughout plant and distribution center.

* Lifting up to 40 pounds
