**Description** **Tradesmen International** is looking to expand our team of qualified Marine Trade Professionals for current & future projects in and around **Newport News, VA** . Most positions are first shift with a pay range of **$24-38/hour** based on experience plus **Per Diem** to qualified Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.

**Job Scope** : + Layout and Fabricate Metal Structural Parts, such as Plates, Bulkheads, and Frames, and Braces them into Position within Hull of Ship for Riveting or Welding + Lays out Position of Parts on Metal + Using Scribe and Hand Tools + Locate and Mark Reference, such as Center, Buttock and Frame Lines + Position Parts in Hull of Ship, assisted by Rigger + Aligns Parts in Relation to each other, using Jacks, Turnbuckles, Clips, Wedges, and Mauls + Marks Location of Holes to be Drilled and Installs Temporary Fasteners to Hold Part in Place for Welding or Riveting + Installs Packing and Gaskets, Liners and Structural Accessories and Members, such as Doors, Hatches, Brackets and Clips + Prepare Molds and Templates for Fabrication of Non-Standard Parts + Tack Weld Clips and Brackets in Place Prior to Permanent Welding + Roll, Bend, Flange, Cute and Shape Plates, Beams, and other Heavy Metal Parts, using Shop Machinery, such as Plate Rolls, Presses, Bending Brakes and Joggle Machines **Requirements:** + Able to Read Blueprints or Templates + Tools for the Trade + Proper PPE + OSHA 10 is Preferred **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
