Inventory Control Clerk

Overview:

The Inventory Control Clerk audits vendor invoices for accuracy and conducts periodic inventories of Gift Shop merchandise and products. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Thunder Valley Casino’s "Winning Attitude" Company-wide culture and demonstrating Thunder Valley Casino’s AAA Four Diamond Service Standards at all times.

Inventory control and product management.

Participate with month-end inventories.

Verify received merchandise with packing slips via physical counts.

Enter receivables into Inventory Tracking System.

Ticket merchandise items in preparation of inventory/sale.

Stock merchandise in designated storage area.

Issue merchandise to the shop as needed.

Arrange merchandise on shelves in preparation of inventory.

Ensure all items are entered into system at cutoff.

Compile damaged merchandise submit to manager for disposal.

Process items that need to be Returned to Vendor.

Perform duties of Gift Shop Attendant as necessary and/or directed by Supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.

Good computer skills, MS Word, MS Excel.

Ability to learn and utilize Computer Programs for Inventory Tracking.
