NG Person Qualified Wireman

Responsibilities:

Install and refurbish AIS/GIS switchgear and associated P&C panels.

Maintain and repair LVAC boards, SCS systems, and PRRs.

Conduct electrical works on blockhouses, marshaling kiosks, and supplies pillars.

Implement telecommunication and battery board installations.

Service transformers, shunt reactors, circuit breakers, disconnectors, earth switches, CT’s, VT’s, and CVT’s.

Qualifications and Authorizations:

Valid National Grid Person Authorisation is essential.

Proven experience in electrical installation and refurbishment in high-voltage environments.

Familiarity with National Grid safety rules and operational procedures.

Skills:

Strong technical knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.

Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Experience:

Extensive experience as a Wireman in the energy sector.

Hands-on experience with AIS/GIS switchgear, P&C panels, and other substation equipment.
