Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY

Working with the Communications Specialist and Director of Communications, the marketing coordinator will assist with all aspects of SMHF marketing including, print, media planning, advertising, mail appeals, email marketing, social media, website, and multiple fundraising programs and initiatives.

MARKETING PROJECT COORDINATION

Assists in scheduling photo and video shoots

Assists in the creation of content for emails, social posts, appeals and IMPACT magazine

Monitors and logs monthly PR

Assists in maintaining and uploading content to smhf.org

Updates and maintains asset libraries including video, photography and PPT presentations

Assist in budget tracking and invoice processing

Maintains media calendar, marketing project status and traffic reports

Supports engagement specialists for multiple events

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field

Minimum two years related marketing or advertising agency experience (10 years maximum)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

Strong social media skills

Preferred Qualifications

Self-motivated and detail oriented

Excels in a dynamic and creative environment

Ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet strict deadlines

Familiarity with WordPress

Familiarity with Canva or other design software
