Job Description:

Paint Automation Specialist is responsible for developing the scope of work, specifications and bid packages for sealing, PUR Foam, paint robots and other automation equipment such as Feather dusters/Blowoffs for upgrade modifications or new installations. The Specialist will direct and support installation, commissioning/debug and trouble shooting. Review and approve layout drawings, controls safety design and automation solutions for achieving final process deliverables. Lead and coordinate the design, installation, validation, and launch of automation solutions with the automation contractor and plant representatives

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering

5 to 10 Years experience in paint automation maintenance, design and implementation

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to understand Robot controller systems, PLC logic and robot requirements for paint application.

Knowledge of paint bell machines, feather dusters, blowoff design and application.

Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot automation solutions and factor cost, timing and risk.

Thorough knowledge of WCM, AM and PM concepts.

Ability to travel and work overtime as required
