Proof Point email Security -L2-JDJob Description This position will be responsible for administrating the Proof Point email Security. Your typical day will involve working with Proof point email Security and ensure environment is safe and secure from unauthenticated source. As a Proofpoint Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring, designing, and maintaining our Proofpoint email security solutions to protect our organization's email communications from threats and vulnerabilities. This position is based in Noida, Chennai, and Bangalore India Major Duties and Responsibilities Design and implement Proofpoint policies and rules to protect against spam, phishing, malware, and other email threats. Configure and fine-tune Proofpoint Email Security Gateway to optimize email filtering and threat detection. Manage existing Proofpoint Advanced Threat Protection/Email Protection platforms including Email Fraud Defense, Threat Response Auto-Pull, Targeted Attack Protection, Threat Response, Emerging Threats Intelligence, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Encryption Perform security event triage and initial incident response to detected threats. Monitor and analyze email traffic for potential security threats, including phishing and spam. Monitor and maintain Proofpoint policies, rules, and configurations to optimize performance. Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner. Collaborate with IT and Security Architecture teams to implement and maintain email security protocols. Manage inbound and outbound security rules for email (filtering, whitelists, spam, etc.). Provide inputs on messaging initiatives, maintain email security infrastructure, and deploy security controls to manage and mitigate risks. Secure email systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access. Develop and report metrics (KPIs) for email security performance. Stay current with emerging security threats and trends and adapt security measures accordingly. Create and maintain documentation for security procedures and protocols. Assist the team to submit the RCA for any major issues within its SLA. Maintaining and establishing policies as per the best practice.
