1x Weekend HK/Nanny - Prospect Heights, NY

Overview:

A busy and kind Prospect Heights based family is looking for a weekend HK/nanny to help adjust to parenting 2 under 2. The schedule is Saturday OR Sunday from 9am-5pm but they can be flexible for the right person. The role will start ASAP. The family would love to find someone who has the availability to watch kids two nights per week starting in August from around 7pm-10pm (nice to have but not essential).There are several weekends later this year where the family will need full time help in the day and overnight while the parents are traveling so they would love to find someone who has overnight experience as well.

Responsibilities:

The family has a 1-month-old and a 17 month-old. They will need someone who can help with kids when needed but also help with the chaos of home when needed. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Caring for the kids as needed-Basic cooking and meal prep

Feeding

Changing

Play-time

Naps

Walks to park, playground, and classes

Basic cleaning like washing bottles and cleaning up after meals

Light-housekeepingKeeping the kitchen and living room clean and tidy (not deep cleaning but doing the dishes and loading the dishwasher)

Meal prep and simple batch cooking for family

Qualifications:

The family is looking for someone who:

Takes the initiative

Is energetic and fast

can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Is warm, confident, punctual, committed, kind, and communicative

Requirements:

Legal to work in the US

5+ years experience with newborns and toddlers

CPR-certified (willing to pay for recertification)

TDAP, COVID and flu-vaccinated

SPANISH speaking

Salary and Benefits:

Compensation for this role does depend on experience ranges from $35-$45 per hour and is flexible for the right fit.
