Pharmacist

Responsibilities:

This is an inpatient pharmacist role assuring clinically appropriate and safe medication distribution to all patients. The pharmacist will:

Review and verify inpatient and outpatient physician orders,

Perform clinical dosing functions,

Check and prepare medications to restock automated dispensing machines

Prepare medications in a USP797 compliant IV room.

Process outpatient employee prescriptions on occasion.

Supervise technician staff who will assist with the above functions.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree Science Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy, required

Over 6 months to 1 year Computer Experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

Pharmacist – Licensed, Upon hire, preferred
