Corporate Citizenship Manager

Posting End Date: May 10, 2024 Employee Type: Regular-Full time Union/Non: This is a non-union position The Manager will lead Enbridge’s enterprise-wide Corporate Citizenship (CC) Fueling Futures program.

The purpose of this program is to support the company’s business objectives through strategic philanthropic partnerships, donations, sponsorships, and employee volunteering & giving that build relationships, reputation and trust and mitigate risk to the business.

What You Will Do: Lead all aspects of the development and implementation of enterprise framework for Corporate Citizenship programs and continual improvement of processes.

Governance to support strategic donations and sponsorships that build reputation, support project advancement and ongoing operations, and contribute to both Enbridge and the communities in which the company works.

Handle implementation of Corporate Citizenship strategic plans, as well as plans that specifically support company objectives such as diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), sustainability, Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plan, etc.

Lead a team of Corporate Citizenship professionals located in the US and Canada Develop the overall approach for investment focus areas and program governance for donations & sponsorship Run the donations budget and providing oversight to the leads in handling their respective giving portfolio budgets to ensure funds are strategically invested in support of building relationships, managing reputations, and aligning with and business objectives.

Coordinate delivery of company-wide signature programs, such as Safe Community, and Fueling Futures Who You Are: A University degree in public relations, communications, business or related field.

Completed a certificate program or professional development program in Corporate Citizenship Management 10+ years of progressively responsible corporate citizenship leadership experience.

An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered Experience in corporate philanthropy and employee volunteering & giving programs in the energy industry as well as managing large corporate sponsorships Strong understanding of the importance of cross-functional collaboration within Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability as well as with other departments and business units across the enterprise Demonstrated capability in developing strategic plans and budgets Proven experience writing and implementing communication plans Proficiency with Benevity grants management and employee giving & volunteering platforms Enbridge Flex-Work Program Enbridge provides competitive workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members.
