Thermoforming/CNC Operator

Job Description

Job Summary:

This position ensures the continuous operation and quality of the products using specific procedural standards in the thermoforming and CNC processes. For this role, individuals must be reliable, and able to ensure the parts produced meet the required specifications.

What you’ll do:

Load and unload thermoforming and CNC machines with appropriate materials to facilitate forming and trimming requirements

Read and interpret work instructions, and any other related documentation to determine methods and sequence of operations necessary to meet dimensional specifications

Perform de-burring, sanding, cutting, trimming and grinding operations necessary to meet specifications

Inspect each part to ensure quality standards

Complete all necessary paperwork to include production information; cycle times, daily production numbers, scrap, etc.

Can advance to completing set up and change over procedures of the molds and fixtures

Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures

Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations

Other duties may be assigned as necessary

What we’re looking for:

Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge and experience using various hand tools and power tools.

2+ years of Thermoforming or CNC experience

Ability to follow detailed work instructions

Basic skills in reading, writing and arithmetic are necessary

Basic computer understanding

Knowledge of machinery

A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach

Good written, and verbal communication skills

Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Works well under pressure and possess a sense of urgency

Ability to work independently as well as in teams

Dependable, self-motivated, strong work ethic, and innovative
