GENERAL SUMMARY: One or two person teams are responsible for the creation and assembling of box truck bodies. A very hands-on position where you are part of a team that builds commercial trucks that help provide services and goods throughout WI and the country.

Work Schedule: 3 Day Weekends! Monday - Thursday, 10-hour shifts; 3:30pm-1:30am

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow and read assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.

Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.

Verifies specifications by measuring completed component(s).

Trouble shot assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications.

Keeps equipment operational.

Maintains safe and clean working environment.

Rotate to different work stations

Effectively and accurately use VMI, Kanban cards, material withdrawal forms, stock, fabricated, and special-order parts so inventory counts are correct

Complete jobs within planned hours

Correct data entry into ERP system

Maintain regular attendance

Follow and practice MBW’s Safety Policies and OSHA regulations

REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:

Basic experience with hand tools

Basic math, tape measure, and computer skills

Must be 18 years old

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Prefer manufacturing experience and welding experience

Prefer High School Diploma or GED equivalent
