Facility Maintenance Technician at M Factory

Full-time: $20/hr + Benefits

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (applicable to change)

Description

The facilities maintenance technician is responsible for helping to keep the production facility in good working condition. While under the supervision of the R&D/Machine Technician Lead, the facility maintenance technician will help to identify potential hazards, offer solutions, and make repairs to both the workspace and the machinery. Responsibilities

Establish a daily routine for facility maintenance

Air Compressor start up and shut down (as a backup for CNC Operator)

Beginning of day facility check

End-of-day facility check

Routine maintenance of equipment, machinery, and facility

Daily Tumbler room maintenance

Daily Compression of cardboard via Compressor

Daily carboard & Waste disposal

Organization and inventory of tools and storage

Coordinate intra-office moves

Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency

Maintain good standing with punctuality, attendance, and timesheet responsibilities

Back-up duties: Start-up and shut down of air compressor and dust collection system

All employees should be aware that from time to time the necessity may arise where they may be asked to assist where needed should priorities change

Qualifications

2 years of experience in facility maintenance or similar occupation

High school diploma or associate degree

Spanish language skills are a plus

OSHA certification is a plus

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Effectively investigate and solve problems

Proactive and independent thinker, able to take initiative and work efficiently with little direction

Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

Ability to Operate warehouse machinery

Work Environment

The physical demands that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job include frequent standing, walking, and using hands.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
