Company Overview

VIBE Cannabis ("the Company") is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for its facility located in St. Louis, MO; a brand-new recreational market just launched in February 2023. VIBE will operate cultivation and manufacturing facilities in MO and is planning further local and domestic expansion.

Position Summary/Objective

VIBE Cannabis is seeking a hands-on, experienced individual for the role of Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for facility, equipment, and building operations to ensure good working order and compliance with all government regulations. This position will report directly to the Maintenance Director to ensure upkeep of the facility, through performing a variety of maintenance functions in and around the facility which includes providing routine emergency and scheduled maintenance to the building and associated equipment. The Maintenance Technician will perform manual tasks, preventive maintenance and maintain facility in top condition while assisting others on the team.

Responsibilities

Daily oversight of all mechanical equipment.

Monitor common areas of the facility keeping them safe and clean from construction debris, garbage and waste inside the facility, yard, and parking lots

Conduct building tours, maintain equipment logs, and report deficiencies for corrective action to the facilities manager

Execute preventative maintenance and maintain future scheduling

Escort third party contractors as facility liaison

Utilize, maintain and repair power tools and mobile equipment

Basic plumbing repairs

Monitor and service ventilation equipment including inspection, repair or installation of all AC units and dehumidifiers through the facility.

Inspection of facilities and equipment to ensure company standards and safety regulations are being maintained.

Maintain a professional, safe, and clean environment, and follow all site standards and health and safety rules and regulations

Take instructions and assist with tasks delegated by the management

Respond immediately to emergency situations and service requests

Maintain general facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary

Reports damages, defects, and other issues to the Director or Maintenance

Assists with the operation and management of sanitation areas when needed.

All duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required

2+ years of facility maintenance or general repair experience in Building Maintenance

Basic knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building equipment

Understanding of proper and safe handling of hazardous materials

Valid driver's license

Experience in operating a forklift preferred

Proficient with computers and software/technology

Experience in a highly regulated industry preferred.

Must have accountability, proactive behavior, strong attention to detail.

Capabilities and Skills:

A high level of professionalism and integrity

Skilled on safe use or power tools, wrenches, and other shop equipment.

A constant desire to learn new skills and believe in continuous improvement, both personally and professionally

Enjoy being part of a team and comfortable working with a diverse, multicultural, multigenerational environment.

Good communication skills

Other Requirements:

Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching is possible

Must pass stringent background check requirements of Missouri

Must be available for on-call and weekend work
