Humble Hearts Academy Preschool & Infant Center, is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to run all day-to-day operations of the child care center independently. This role is perfect for someone ready to take their leadership skills to the next level and who has a positive get-it-done attitude.
This is a full-time onsite position (40 hours per week) that requires availability between the hours of 7am and 6pm.
Responsibilities:
Manage all day-to-day aspects of the center
Ensure the center stays in compliance with all Community Care Licensing - Title 22 rules and regulations at all times
Manage staff, including creating weekly schedules, performance reviews, and reviewing lesson plans
Manage enrollment, including tours, managing the CRM system, and onboarding new families
Manage administrative duties, including supply management, budget management, maintaining contracts and files
Hire and oversee the training of staff
Oversight of CA Federal Food Program, including maintaining files, submitting claims, and general compliance
Assist children with personal needs such as diaper changing, potty training, and hand washing
Supervise children if needed, including during nap time
Preparing/serving and monitoring meals, dishes, cleaning, and laundry
Communicate positively with students, parents, and staff
Participate collaboratively and professionally with staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and collective/individual interest of its staff and student body
Requirements:
Must have management experience
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems, programs, and softwares easily
Early Childhood Education experience required. Must have minimum 15 ECE units. Site supervisor permit preferrred but not required.
Must meet all requirements per CA state licensing including background clearance, TB, CPR/First Aid, Health/Safety training, mandated reporter training, Physical exam, MMR/TDaP Immunizations
Must be willing to work between the hours of 7am-6pm Monday to Friday
Must love working with children and be willing to step into a classroom if needed
Familiarity with email, internet, Apple OS, Google Apps
Strong in time management, problem solving, negotiation & budgeting, multitasking, technology and networking
Excellent written and oral communication skills required
Must be adaptable, resourceful, creative, and proactive
Must have a positive growth mindset and be a team player
