What is the Senior IS Analyst - Business Continuity responsible for?

We are looking for a senior resilience analyst to join our enterprise resilience team. You will be responsible for overseeing and providing guidance to the business in their efforts to transition from traditional business continuity planning to developing, implementing, and maintaining resilience plans and strategies. You will also provide guidance and support to senior leaders of our India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, China and Australia areas of operation on planning and testing best practices and standards.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of Senior IS Analyst - Business Continuity?

Oversee and consult on the development, implementation, and maintenance of resilience plans and strategies in your area of operation and assigned global lines of business, in alignment with the enterprise resilience framework and policies.

Oversee line of business BIA (business impact analysis) and risk assessments to identify critical business processes and resources and determine recovery scenarios, strategies and objectives.

Oversee line of business testing and exercises to validate and improve the effectiveness and readiness of the business continuity plans.

Provide oversight, training and awareness on the resilience program to senior leaders in your area of operation and training to resilience owners and leads for your assigned global business units on their roles and detailed program operation (e.g., plan development, testing, etc.)

Monitor and report on the status and performance of the resilience program and identify and escalate any issues or gaps.

Stay current on regulations and emerging trends in resilience and business continuity in your areas of operation. Provide recommendations for enterprise resilience program changes and/or entity resilience planning.

Develop response plans and training for regional and legal entity response teams. Develop and lead response plan testing and, in the event of a business disruption or crisis, provide guidance and assistance to senior leaders.

Provide internal RFP and due diligence teams with current information on the resilience programs and participate in due diligence meetings with clients as needed.

Develop and deliver entity board/management reporting in alignment with regulation; provide resilience status to entity risk and management teams; respond to regulatory exams and external statutory audits.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

At least 7 years of experience in business continuity management, preferably in a global company.

Certification in business continuity, such as CBCP, FBCI, etc., is preferred.

Strong knowledge and understanding of business continuity standards and methodologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and various stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess risks and impacts and develop and implement solutions.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively and manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, matrix management environment.

Ability to adapt to changing business needs and situations and demonstrate flexibility and resilience.

Job Level - Individual Contributor

Work Shift Timings - 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM /11:00 AM to 8:00 PM IST
