We're in search of a customer-focused Product Designer to lead the design efforts for EverPro Edge, a solution tailored for SMBs in various industries and growth stages. EverPro Edge is aimed at helping SMBs save, learn, and grow, with a mission to empower businesses to thrive through a personalized, engaging experience tailored to their interests, needs, and industry. As a pivotal player in shaping EverPro Edge's user experience within EverCommerce, you'll have opportunities for professional development and to make a lasting impact across the organization.

As the Product Designer, you will be responsible for crafting the user experience, interface design, and overall product aesthetics to effectively address SMB needs. This involves collaborating cross-functionally, conducting comprehensive user research, and translating insights into actionable design solutions. Your primary objective is to create a platform that enables EverCommerce' s customers to attain business success while enjoying a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to develop a deep understanding of user needs and business goals, translating them into innovative design solutions.

Transform broad, conceptual ideas into tangible designs to foster understanding and drive productive discussions, encouraging collaboration on potential solutions.

Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on product designs.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate the user experience and interface design.

Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure successful implementation of design solutions while maintaining design integrity.

Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and data analysis to continuously improve the user experience and drive business outcomes.

Advocate for user-centric design principles both internally and externally, driving awareness and adoption of design best practices.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

5+ years of experience in product design, user experience design, or related fields.

Proven track record of designing intuitive and engaging products.

Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and ability to create beautiful and functional designs.

Strong understanding of UI and UX design principles and best practices, including best practices for desktop, mobile, and accessibility

Experience with Figma

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design decisions and rationale to cross-functional teams.

Experience with user research methods, usability testing, and data-driven design.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.

Passion for creating delightful user experiences and driving business impact through design.

Experience designing for SMBs is a plus.

Where: Toronto, ON or Denver, CO preferred, but can be fully remote:

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $XXX to $XXX USD per hour/year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
