Job Description for LVN, Office Staff
Job Summary:
Works as part of team to run Nephrology clinic. Prepare charts in advance. Room patients, review and reconcile medication lists, take vital signs, complete orders, arrange any outpatient testing, and schedule patients for follow up visits. Schedule and coordinate new patients for their appointments.
Pull labs from computer and maintain lab flow sheets. Accuracy is important.
Do medication refills, and maintain medication lists.
Maintain charts as well as making new patient charts. Fax patient information as needed.
Communicate with patients, physicians, ancillary departments, and transplant coordinators. Document such communication.
Work closely and coordinate patient care with the Doctor and Transplant Coordinators, for Kidney, and Liver Transplant patients.
Review charts with new labs, other testing, medication refills and patient questions with the Doctor.
Have basic knowledge of Excel and Word, create and work on documents.
Maintain clean treatment rooms and office
Full time Monday – Friday

Good communication very important. Both written and verbal
Accuracy in all patient related areas.

Job Qualifications:
Education: Associate’s degree in nursing
Experience: Willing to train, nephrology and or office experience a plusCompany Description
