Assistant General Manager/Bar Manager

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an Assistant General Manager/Bar Manager to join our team. We are looking for a talented and motivated individual with passion, experience in hospitality management, and a good knowledge base of beer, wine and spirits. Ability to work Weekend nights is a must. We allow tremendous flexibility with schedule during the week. We have so much fun at work and we love to work hard/play hard. We would love for you to join our team. We are also opening a brand new speakeasy concept right next-door, so this individual would have the opportunity to be involved in creation of something epic.

Duties:-

Assist in managing staff and providing leadership

Oversee beverage/cocktail program

Support in maintaining inventory control and ordering supplies

Aid in overseeing catering events and ensuring customer satisfaction

Assist with hospitality management duties to enhance guest experience

Help manage Point of Sale (POS) systems and resolve any issues

Oversee bar activities during peak hour

Assist with culinary tasks and food production as needed

Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus

Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry

Proficiency in inventory control and ordering processes

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction

Knowledge of POS systems and ability to troubleshoot issues

Bartending experience is a plus

Culinary background or understanding of food production is beneficial

Ability to conduct interviews and assess potential candidates
