Sr. Systems Administrator

Location: Silver Spring, Md (hybrid position - 2 days in the office)

Mostly Remote Salary: $140K- $175K with full benefits.

Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen

Sr. Systems Administrator to support our NOAA programs in Silver Spring, Maryland.

· Key Role Provide support for windows server systems running on windows 2012/2016/2019.

· Activities includes troubleshooting, patching, backing up / restoring of VM’s, deploying new VM’s and working with application teams on Middleware support.

· Maintaining a stable Windows environment

· Patch servers monthly or on as needed basis for vulnerabilities

· Use Ansible tower to manage and maintain the Windows environment

· Manage Puppet in providing compliance of the Windows environment

· Manage and maintain repo server and its repositories and the devices that pull down the repos

· Manage Active Directory

· Proficient in VMWare Esxi infrastructure and knowledge on deploying

· Must be able to troubleshoot independently to resolution.

· Must be able to configure Intrusion Detection, encrypted storage, and system auditing.

· Required 5-10 + years of experience with planning, designing, and installing virtual hardware/software/storage within an Enterprise data center

· Should have some knowledge on Ansible and managing of Linux environment and Active Directory Management
