Site Quality Leader role in REP Delhi is to implement the quality control measures during project execution at site, ensuring compliance with company standards and project specifications. Ensure consistency in site in terms of methods, tools and processes for high level of Quality at site. Close associates with site manager, site coordinator, customer and FSEs to implement and maintain high level quality throughout the project execution. Maintain Quality dashboard and propose quality improvement plan

Skill requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Proven experience in quality control within the construction or engineering industry.

Strong understanding of quality control principles, techniques, and methodologies in a project execution context.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional project team environment.

Knowledge of relevant industry standards, project specifications, and regulations.

Team player and ability to communicate (written, verbal) in clear and synthetic manner on technical issues/topics.

Flexibility and Reliability

Customer first approach

Good Software tools literacy: MS Office (MS Project), Acrobat, Outlook, Testing device software(Omicron),

Knowledge of Medium voltage/Low voltage equipment, Power stations and principles,

Knowledge of all types of High Voltage substations, electrical network

Based in India and able to travel internationally for 75% of working time

Key responsibilities / activities:

Supervise the complete scope of the Quality function as the ultimate person in charge of customer satisfaction.

Oversee the implementation of quality control measures during project execution, ensuring compliance with company standards and project specifications.

· Establish acceptable standards with defined limits of variation in quality of the material, size, weight, finish or other characteristics for goods or services, and maintain these standards.

Conduct inspections and audits of project sites, materials, and workmanship to identify any deviations or non-conformities.

Develop and maintain project-specific quality control documentation, including inspection checklists, quality standards, and procedures.

Collaborate with project teams to identify areas for process improvement and develop corrective action plans.

Monitor and track punch list items, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to project schedules.

Train and educate project teams on quality control procedures and best practices.

Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality requirements.

Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess work progress and identify potential quality issues.

Investigate and address any customer complaints related to project quality, implementing appropriate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement preventive measures.

Stay updated with industry trends, project specifications, and regulations to ensure compliance and suggest improvements.

Assist in supplier quality management and evaluation for project-related materials and services.

Represent the voice of customer and drive the customer centricity within the entity

Manage the Site Engineers team (Failure investigation, Break/Fix)

Run CS&Q related processes (Issue to Prevention)

Drive Quality Excellence in Supply Chain (from Suppliers to Customers)

Drive the relevant quality programs and methods (8 D, lean 6 sigma, SPS, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement

Consolidate all Non-Quality Costs and drive improvement actions

Advocate to drive and implement the Global directives and policies

Compliance with HSE requirements

- Ensures that the Safety plans are prepared and sent to the Site Works HSE manager and to HSE GCP Ops referent

- Check compliance with HSE rules at all times, report near miss Monitor, document, track and review safety KPI.

Application of Safety regulations:

- Strictly follow Schneider Electric Global safety instructions as well as local requirements of countries where the job is performed

Update the business information systems:

- Update the expenses and charges in Schneider Electric standard tool.

- Update the customer equipment databases if applicable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Minimum 10 years experience in Site Quality field or relevant Quality Manager
