About the job
Reporting to the Skipper, you will be required to oversee the daily operations and routine maintenance of machinery on board one of our heavy works vessels. Additionally, you will also assist the crew deck operations. Working a 7/7 roster, you will be based at our Margate Haywards site with regular travel between other marine operation sites. During shifts, you will be working away from Margate and may be required to stay onboard the vessel as needed.
About you
To be successful in this role, you must:
Hold a current MED I (Marine Engine Driver Grade 1)
Either a Master <45m NC or Master <24m NC ticket (desirable)
A High-Risk Licence (LF, CV or CN) (desirable)
Be operationally capable and commercially aware
Be safety and improvement focussed.
Be a passionate person who can inspire others to follow
Have the right to work full-time in Australia
Successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug test
