RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

The responsibilities and authorities for this position include, but are certainly not limited to:

Operate assembly equipment in a safe and productive manner

Assemble all parts consistent to established quality standards and job instructions

Follow established system procedures and instructions

Observe all safety requirements when operating machinery

Report any malfunction, quality concern, or safety hazards immediately after observance

Follow chain of command when relating to any concerns

Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement activities.

Promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all health and safety and environmental legislation. Completion of any other duties as assigned.

Abide by Company Value Statement and the Company Standard Code of Conduct

Performing job duties in compliance with the detailed instructions as outlined in the job specific Advanced Product Quality Plan Manual (APQP) books line side, display boards and work instructions.

Ensuring all work stations are clean and organized at all times (loading, unloading, sanding, buffing, labeling, etc.).

Must be able to adapt to multiple shift rotations within the established team; must be committed to the team for its entire duration.

Work in compliance with Quality and Business Operating Systems and all relevant health and safety and environmental legislation and guidelines.

Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement activities.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Completion of any other duties as assigned.

HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The General Labourer is responsible for complying with the Company Health & Safety Program Including the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Industrial regulations, WHMIS regulations and Company Health & Safety policies. Reference: JDA-003 Worker / Supplied Labour Health & Safety Responsibilities (Addendum to Worker Job Descriptions).

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent and as outlined below.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the following minimum qualifications:

Have the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.

Have the ability to be trained for the above mentioned responsibilities and authorities.

Must be flexible and able to work in a team atmosphere.

Ability to work effectively with other team members.
