SEO Strategist

ImpactAs our SEO Strategist located in Atlanta, GA or Birmingham, AL you will partner cross functionally to bring strategies to life with a clear vision and have a balance of technical and content knowledge.

While no two days are the same, you deliver on the SEO optimization strategies to maximize reach to Shipt’s target audience via an increase in search engine results on key branded and non-branded terms. Define and deliver key work streams and opportunities that will deliver on the SEO goals and Owned strategy.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

You have 3 years of experience in tech, start-ups, or agency experience.

You have worked in an organization that you have working knowledge and understanding of SEO Optimizations to drive positive impact and/or working knowledge of SEM campaign set-up and basic analysis.

You know how to use AI tools to improve and expedite and research: keywords, relevant content; specifically local content to improve brand visibility.

You enjoy conducting thorough research and fact-checking to ensure content accuracy and effectiveness.

You have worked in an environment where you learned Google Analytics, and or Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.

You enjoy analyzing and synthesizing high volumes of data daily.

You enjoy working closely with content writers, brand and creative teams to enhance user experience throughout the customer journey.

You feel confident in developing and executing local content and product strategies to establish authority and relevance

Work Arrangement:

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader. Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis.
