Responsibilities:

Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.

Managing all finance and accounting operations

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition and Revenue Collection.

Managing company's investments and cash flows.

Optimising and maintaining free cash flows.

Own and execute preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Oversee the administration of the ESOP, including managing the allocation of shares to eligible employees, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with ESOP regulations and guidelines.

Prepare and file GST returns in accordance with the applicable GST regulations and deadlines. This involves accurately calculating the GST liability and ensuring timely payment to tax authorities.

Perform regular reconciliations of TDS deductions and payments to ensure accuracy. Address any discrepancies and rectify them promptly.

Reconcile vendor-related balance sheet accounts, including accounts payable and accrued expenses, to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Good knowledge of ERPs like Tally, to streamline all processes

Overseeing the legal and secretarial aspects of the business.

Experience:

2+years of proven working experience as a Financial Controller ( CA Mandatory )

Have strong Excel skills

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

Experience with creating financial statements

Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
