Job Description:
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Define, develop, integrate, validate/ verify and release Software Solutions in accordance with Quality processes and procedures.
Design, Development and Configuration of Automated Test Equipment for complex systemssub-systems, simulation and control system environments
Prepare and release software documentation in support of the Test Equipment Software Engineering Process. This will include active participation at technical reviews with peers, Technical Approvers and Chief Engineers
Complete work packages in the maintenance or upgrade of existing software solutions
Maintain and release Software Documentation during maintenance or upgrade activities
Work Experience (Years): Candidate must have 5 years of experience in using various NI tools such as LabVIEW and Test Stand., along with various NI toolkits and add-on modules.
Knowledge and experience of creating engineering software solutions using LabView, LabView RT/FPGA, Veristand, Visual Basic is necessary. C, C++, C#, Java, Delphi .net languages would be an added advantage.
· Must have experience of working with digital and analogue electronics (PCI, PXI, CDAQ, CRIO)
Knowledge and experience in Design, Development and Configuration of ATE) for complex systemssub-systems, simulation and control system environments.
Must have both software and hardware debugging capability.
Must have good communication skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills.
Must have working knowledge of the characteristics and behavior of closed loop control when applied to machinery.
Must have experience in testing Aircraft systems/sub-system environments.
Exposure to Avionic Communication Protocols is an added advantage (ARINC, MIL1553)
dSPACE®, Python, Matlab® Simulink® knowledge is an added advantage.
Familiar with: LabView object orientated programming, Hardware Abstraction (HAL) and Measurement Abstraction (MAL), Custom Device development and Model interface with Veristand. Knowledge of Aircraft Actuation systems is an added advantage
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering subject area as a minimum.
