- Perform security assessments and risk analysis on automotive systems, including embedded software, communication protocols, and vehicle networks.
- Devise and implement security solutions to mitigate identified risks and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and uphold security requirements and specifications for automotive systems and components.
- Collaborate with product development teams to integrate security controls and mechanisms into automotive software and hardware design and implementation.
- Execute security testing, including penetration testing and vulnerability scanning, to identify and rectify potential weaknesses in automotive systems.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, responding to security breaches or incidents as needed.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in automotive cybersecurity, offering recommendations to enhance the security of our products.
- Participate in security reviews and audits, internally and externally, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in cybersecurity are advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity roles, with specific expertise in automotive cybersecurity preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies, particularly focusing on embedded systems and network security.
- Proficient in security assessment tools and methodologies, such as threat modeling, risk analysis, and security testing.
