CNC Set-up/Operator

Hamilton Connections is looking for candidates for a CNC set-up/operator position at a manufacturing company in Bethel, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.

The hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $20-$25 an hour, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Operate HAAS and FRYER CNC mills to produce parts

Conduct QC inspections of machined parts to ensure adherence to specifications and standards

Oversee/operate multiple machines

Complete preventive maintenance on equipment

Maintain a clean work environment

Notify supervisors if there are any problems with the machine

Read and interpret prints, plans, sketches and shop drawings

Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality

Respond to quick turnaround orders

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

3 years or more of CNC set-up and operating experience

Experience with HAAS and FRYER CNC mills

Ability to use micrometer, calipers and other measuring tools

Good attitude and willing to learn

Perform well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment

Willing to help in other manufacturing areas when needed

Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including standing for long periods and heavy lifting
