Lumber Mill Worker

Core Supply in Houston, Texas is seeking safety-oriented candidates for the position of Lumberyard Worker.

Job Responsibilities:

Adhere to Core Supply's safety programs and standards

Demonstrate conduct consistent with Core Supply's vision and values

Report for work as scheduled and fit for duty

Safely operate saws and other equipment

Prepare lumber orders

Loan customer trucks for customer pick ups

Maintain the shop or designated area in a clean safe manner

Some heavy lifting may be necessary

Working conditions can be noisy/dusty/hot/cold

Minimum Qualifications

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Must have high school diploma, GED, or local/state equivalent

Must have basic math skills to be able to calculate bar measurements

Must be able to work any shift

Experience working in outdoor warehouse environment preferred

Lumber Mill experience preferred.

Must have good communication skills

Bilingual English/ Spanish a plus
