Job Description
We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate with experience to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling our products, in a retail setting to drive company revenue. Incentives are available based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and identify customer needs
Understand and explain our handmade Men and Women’s Italian gloves and assist them in finding their color, style, and size
Monitor inventory to ensure the product is in stock
Enter and process customer orders including preparation of online orders
Investigate and resolve customer complaints
Keep the store neat, and tidy, to ensure the products are properly stored
Assist with windows and displays
Answer customer questions and concerns
Upsell when appropriate; promote current sales, promotions, deals, etc.
Process purchases, returns, and exchanges
Process newly received shipments
Assist with the yearly inventory count
Prepare online orders and phone orders for shipment
Be enthusiastic and informative about all products
Help create a positive environment for customers to shop and buy
Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail sales and customer service
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build rapport with customers
Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong sales skills to increase sales
Bilingual English/Italian is preferred.
High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Computer literate; familiarity using POS systems
Extremely personable, positive, and approachable
Fantastic customer service skills
Comfortable standing for long periods
Ability to lift between 20-50 pounds
Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Professional demeanor and appearance required
